Just as those Americans, and Europeans that have gone here to conquer The Mountain (Bathurst), only to cone completely unstuck and end up last, or well into the rear of the field or series. Only to find out that it’s NOT about turning left for several hours on end. There’s been a few Australian Motorsport racing drivers that have ventured over to the U.S. I might not understand the full intricacies of the sport, but I do give it full credits for being a disipline that requires great skills. I’ve read I here so many stating NASCAR is for the poorer race fans, and anyone liking such raving must obviously come from a trailer park. Because it is motor raving, pure and simple. ![]() ![]() And while we have no NASCAR style circuits, we don’t shun those styles of racing. We also embrace others cultures around motor racing. But, at the same time, we also love F1, Speedway (real dirt oval racing with Miget Racers, and huge winged monsters that tear up the clay surfaces. Over this side of the great Pacific Pond, to your left of LA and California, we live our V8 Supercars like ducks love water.
